Choosing Routines
When starting a new instance, some housekeeping routines will run first.
These are required to run as they collect data that will be used in other routines.
Once they are done, set up your primary routines first as they will likely take you the longest to tweak until you have them configured that way you want them.
If you enabled multiple ancillary routines, they will run first and you may struggle with your primaries not running until all ancillaries are complete. Please see Routine Priority for more details.
Once your primaries work as you need, introduce the Ancillaries. Pay attention to the start time/interval, read what the settings do. The default settings are good for most people to begin with. Please do not change a setting unless you understand what it does. If you do that, yo could activate something you do not actually want and if you were not sure what setting turned it on, you would not know how to turn it off again.
Documentation for a routine can be displayed by clicking the green ? icon at the top right of each routines settings page.
If you enable a lot of ancillaries for the first time, it may take some time before they complete but after the first run, they will reschedule at the intervals you specify and spread themselves out through the day.
